13) HIPAA Courses

Our various HIPAA courses are designed to train you on the national standards for the protection of

certain health information, called HIPAA.  HIPAA is an acronym for the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.  It address the use and disclosure of individuals’ health information—called “protected health information” by organizations. You will learn the Privacy Rule standards, as well as how to apply and implement them in real-world situations. 

 

HIPAA explicitly requires training as part of the implementation.
